Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – 28 July 2019
from Rapidly Rotating Records · host Glenn Robison
Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. On this evening’s show we’re going to play nineteen records. Well, not 19 records, more like 15 or 16, but we will play some records about the number nineteen. Why? Because this is our NINETEENTH ANNIVERSARY SHOW! The first Rapidly Rotating Records show was broadcast on KISL on July 26, 2000, we’ve been here ever since, and no one is more surprised or happier about that than I. Tonight we’ll also make some things happen, grant some pardons, go on a treasure hunt and take a musical trip to San Francisco. Enjoy the show! Here’s the complete playlist: Segment 1: Nineteen In Nineteen Ninety-nine – Al Bernard 19th Street Blues – Dodds and Parham Nineteen Bright Pounds – Tom Foy Segment 2: Make It So If A Wish Could Make It So – Six Brown Brothers Wishing (Will Make It So) – Herman Darewski & His Band / Gerry Arthur, v.
