On this evening’s show,we’re gonna do some dancing, visit some towns, and celebrate a birthday. Enjoy the show! Here’s the complete playlist: Segment 1: Championship CharlestonFebruary 4 in 1926, John Giola of New York City won a championship by dancing the Charleston non-stop, for 22 hours and 30 minutes. So to commemorate Mr. Giola’s feat, as well as his feet, we’re gonna have our own little Charleston marathon on the show tonight by beginning and ending with sets of Charleston songs. You may recognize him as pianist, bandleader and composer Eubie Blake.
