Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. Do you know who this lady is? She’s 1930s nightclub singer Adelaide Moffett and you’ll hear three of her recordings with three different orchestras in the fourth segment of this week’s edition of the show. You’ll also find out all about her very interesting life and career. Also getting a first-time birthday segment this week is Ivie Anderson, known as “The Voice of Ellington” and you’ll hear three of her records with the Ellington orchestra.
