Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – June 28, 2020

from Rapidly Rotating Records · host Glenn Robison

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. No birthday celebrations on this show and some odd segment topics, but some great music and *lots* of information which I hope you will find as interesting as we do. We start off with one my favorite records of all time in a “sing song” set. In the second segment we’ll have a brain storm. Since we’re in the Pacific time zone and on the Pacific coast, for the third segment, we’ve got a set of “Pacific” songs. And if you’re a fan of classic television game shows, I have a surprise in store for you in that set! I had a couple of records last week that I ran out of time to play, so you’ll hear them this week in a “traveling” set. And the final segment of the show is all about shawls. (I told you there were some odd topics!)  I hope you are all safe and healthy and doing as well as you can be given the current world situation and stay-at-home orders and that this hour of music gives you a bit of diversion and entertainment. Thanks for listening and best wishes! Thank you for your very kind attention! Enjoy the show!
