In this case, the cover refers to a recording of the tune “Slippery Hank” written by Frank Losey. The record is Victor 18321. It was recorded on June 4, 1917 by Earl Fuller’s Famous Jazz Band and that very record will wrap up Frank Losey’s birthday segment on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records.
