Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. Do you know who this lovely lady is? She’s Jane Froman, pictured in 1934 when she was polled as “the number one female singer on radio. But radio wasn’t her only medium. You’ll find out all about Jane and hear three of her recordings in the second segment of this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. Starting off the show is another birthday celebration, that of Lee S. Roberts, in which you’ll hear three fine examples of his songwriting talents. In other segments, we’ll hear some “raggedy” records (referring to their titles, not their condition!),  we’ll express some gratitude and do some cookin’ with butter.
