Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – October 25, 2020

from Rapidly Rotating Records · host Glenn Robison

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. It’s a bit past our 1930s boundary, but this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records starts off with a trip down the Lone Star Trail courtesy of Bing Crosby. In the fourth segment we’ll find out how well you know your old time radio and in the final segment we’ll get tickled. That leaves segments two and three which are both devoted to yet another edition of “One Thing in Common.” This time, there are seven records which seemingly have nothing whatsoever to do with each other, but in fact, have one thing in common. There’s plenty of great music and interesting information, so just click below for the complete playlist and to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.
