Rat Race, Commutes, Cubicles, and Fluorescent Lights!!

Hello Hello! In this episode, we talk about the rat race that is corporate America and the dilemma we face on a daily basis between providing ourselves with stability and our burning desire to leave it all behind and chase freedom. We discuss how unhealthy our work culture is between cubicles, hideous commutes, and being bombarded with fluorescent lights all day and how we need to demand better for ourselves as a society. We also talk about how the school system has played into our insane hustle culture and we can’t help but feel like we’ve been lied to all of our lives. We share our perspectives on how comparison and LinkedIn played a role in us rushing to get a certain type of job that wasn’t necessarily what WE wanted but we did it subconsciously to feel “good enough” about ourselves. Finally, Megan shares her plan to escape her 9-5 in pursuit of a life that is aligned with her purpose in a very exciting and inspirational leap of faith.
