I did some of my usual wittering and forgot most of what I wanted to say. A fairly standard show issue show then. Enjoy! 00:00 – Pigeon Park – Come Down Slow – License Unknown – This was sent to me via Sound Cloud by the band. Really nice bit of melodic rock I thought. I also mentioned a TV show from my childhood called Pigeon Street. 07:46 – Filter Distortion – Love Vacation – License Unknown – A Liverpool electro group I’ve seen mentioned around town but never really heard. I like their style and I hope you will too. Thanks to Graham Holland for tipping me off to this one. —————————— 11:04 – Ozzbeats – Together Again – CC BY-SA Licensed – A suggestion emailed to me by Jonathan Archer. He says “A track by Ozzbeats called Togethet Again – I presume that is meant to be Together… It’s a bit 70’s film soundtrack bit RnB, seems to be really well produced… Definitely a bit low key Bill Conti I’d say…“. Roumanian instrumental hip hop is the description on Jamendo. Sounds good to me. 20:02 – Cafe Brasilis – Lamparina Chinesa – License Unknown – Emailed to me by Rafael Beraldo from Brazil. ——————————- 22:41 – Bitter Mystics – Foggy San Francisco Night – CC BY-SA Licensed 31:00 – Forthaven (feat Thom Morecroft) – Dishevelled – All Rights Reserved – This is a track from another Liverpool acquaintance. Jay the producer is a friend from acoustic nights and other things. This track also features the familiar voice of Thom Morecroft. Another friend of the show. Full album out in September. ——————————– 34:55 – The Lights Galaxia – While She Sleeps (Morning Edit) – CC BY-NC-ND Licensed 41:13 – Cafe Brasilis – Racional – License Known – Emailed to me by Rafael Beraldo. 49:39 – Ben Moon – New Beginning – CC BY-NC-SA Licensed – A suggestion from friend of the show Tim Dobson who says “15-year-old Korean-born Canadian producer Ben Moon, formally known as Statik or Symphonik, has just released his debut dubstep track under his new alias appropriately titled ‘New Beginning.’ This debut tune leads off with a cinematic, almost Star Wars-like orchestra which is followed up by heavy, Skrillex-inspired dubstep drops and intricate vocal samples. Ben Moon entered the dubstep world with a bang, and if he keep this up, he’ll be a name to keep your eye on in 2012; especially at the age of 15. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!”. 59:11 – Heifervescent – Try Again – CC BY-NC-ND Licensed Big thanks to Dave Hills for his kind support of the show. Plus everyone on Flattr.
