I must have felt more chatty or something, hard to see how that’s possible. This was broadcast on Mother’s Day here in the UK but I didn’t have a special song for that. Instead I performed a folk song to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Saturday. Rathole Gig News – 4 acts in the line up now: The Corinthians, P’Chenga, Thom Morecroft and of course 20lb Sounds. 36:26 – EGOMOTEL – LAST NIGHT –CC BY-NC-SA Licensed 40:17 – Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps – Whet My Appetite – License Unknown – This is a track I heard on The Roadhouse podcast. At first I wasn’t sure what to make of it but it quickly grew on me. A powerful song and a great performance full of dynamics and feeling. These guys were played by Steve Lamaq on 6 Music apparently too, I can see why.
