Rationalized and Stubborn Rejection

from Hillside Evangelical Free Church · host Hillside Evangelical Free Church

There is a very real danger in Christianity that we settle for the appearance of godliness without actually repenting and turning to God in faith. In this sermon from Matthew 21:23-32 we see the religious leaders of Jesus' day trying to trap Him with a question. The response Jesus gave however revealed that the Pharisees cared more about their own position and politics than humbly following the Lord. May this message help you examine your life and recognize if you are truly following Jesus in faith or simply making a show of it.
