Hola apasionados del taekwondo, bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de nuestro podcast.Para el día de hoy tenemos una entrevista sobre biomecánica del taekwondo con un experto en el el área: Raúl Landeo, a quien tuvimos de invitado en uno de nuestros primeros episodios, el cuatro y el ocho.En nuestra entrevista anterior con él hablamos sobre la ciencia y el taekwondo, un poco sobre cómo se entrenaba antes y las diferencias con el entrenamiento de ahora. En esta ocasión hablaremos sobre un tema específico que Raúl se ha dedicado a investigar y aplicar en el taekwondo de rendimiento. El tema es:"El rol del amortiguamiento en la pierna de apoyo en el pateo del taekwondo".Y bueno, es un tema al que seguramente le pueden sacar mucho provecho los entrenadores como podrás escuchar en la entrevista.¿Desde cuándo se hace esta investigación sobre amortiguamiento articular?Se comenzó a utilizar de forma rudimentaria para los JJOO de Londres 2012 y posteriormente se mejoró para los juegos de Río 2016.¿Qué es el amortiguamiento articular?Citando el trabajo de Raúl...Las extremidades inferiores humanas, están continuamente sujetas a cargas externas durante actividades de la vida diaria como caminar, correr y saltar (Hamilton et. al., 2008). Estas cargas externas tienen el potencial de causar heridas si exceden ciertos límites o si los perfiles musculo esqueléticos del individuo están debilitados. (Dvir, 2000). Uno de los mecanismos para contrarrestar los efectos de esta carga externa es la flexión de las articulaciones de la cadera, rodilla y tobillo para incrementar el tiempo de contacto y reducir la fuerza de impacto (Winter, 2009).En esta parte de la entrevista se tocarán otros temas, cómo:¿En qué deportes se ha estudiado el amortiguamiento artícular y qué relación tiene con el rendimiento?¿Es una capacidad qué se puede entrenar?¿Por qué convendría estudiarse en el taekwondo?
