Ravnica 1/25/22 (partial)

Well, this is the last of them. After this, my recordings are mostly normalized. At least this is the last recording where we can only hear the party and not the dm.  A shame, too because this was one of my favorite episodes. In a dungeon ripped right out of the Suffering Game, our heroes must face off against Braids dementia summoner in the Vault of Cataclan. Here are my notes from that particular day.  STORM THE VAULT -The vault of cataclan is a pay to play dungeon portal, opened by sacrificing 50,000 gold pieces and opening it wherever you choose. The vault of cataclan is an extra dimensional space. Braids, dementia summoner is there as well. She used her NIGHTMARE powers to transubstantiate her and her pirate crew into this dreamlike space. All the traps and enemies cost money to activate and also to circumvent. You are separated from braids and her crew by magical glass. There are two or three prisoners dilemma style puzzles that require you to make deals with braids as they go thru their own puzzles and encounters in the mirrored dungeon. -At the end, lies the vault itself. See: TIME VAULT. A walk through a frozen magical school to find teferi and narset. Opening the vault blasts y’all with Time magic. This makes braids into blue braids and whoever opened the vault affected by weird time magic. -Use the wheel/sacrifice rooms from the suffering game. The rooms are administrated by an impartial but fair gold golem. The sacrifices are meant to fuel the vault itself. Halfway through the dungeon, braids breaks in and kills the admin, taking over. She is decidedly more sadistic. She uses her nightmare powers to pull ragavan in as a competing challenger, and the party will now have to reason with a monkey during the prisoner’s dilemma segments.
