The Tampa Bay Rays beatdown the Cleveland Guardians en route to a 9-0 win. It was a complete win for the Rays. Tampa Bay got the scoring started in the 4th inning. Bob Seymour hit a RBI single to cap off a 2 run inning to make it 2-0. They would add on 2 more in the 5th after a monster Junior Caminero home run to make it 4-0. The Rays would put the game out of reach in the 7th inning. It started with a Yandy Diaz solo home run to make it 5-0. Then after a short rain delay, Junior Caminero would hit his 2nd home run to make it 6-0. Carson Williams would add a 2 RBI double to make it 8-0. Ian Seymour started for the Rays and was fantastic. In his first MLB start he went 5 IP striking out 8 and only allowing 1 hit.
