RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays GET SILENCED by the New York Yankees

The Rays lose the first game of the series to the Yankees 5-1. The Rays offense once again was silent today. The Yankees would get on the board first. They smacked a 3 run homer in the 5th inning to make it 3-0. The Rays lone run came in the bottom of the 5th off a RBI single by Richie Palacious to make it 3-1. That is the only run the Rays would manage as two more solo homers by the Yankees made it the final score of 5-1. Griffin Jax started today and was really good. He went 5 IP striking out 10 and only allowing 1 hit. But that 1 hit was a 3 run homer after back to back walks in the 5th inning. The Rays have now lost 3 in a row after winning 9 in a row.
