The Tampa Bay Rays complete the sweep of the Washington Nationals, winning 7-4. The Rays like the first two games got the scoring started early. They scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning highlighted by a Grand Slam by Brandon Lowe to break the game open. The Rays would add another run in the 3rd after a Josh Lowe triple. He would score on a Sac Fly by Everson Pereira to make it 7-0. The Nationals would add runs in the 3rd and the 4th to make it 7-4. Ian Seymour started for the Rays and was solid. He went 5 IP giving up just 1 earned run and 8 strikeouts to pick up the win. The Rays have their biggest home stand of the season coming up.
