RBDS9 092 – Rules of Engagement (S4E17)

from Rebinge It · host Kim Voegele & James Rowan

Rebinging Star Trek DS9: Rules of Engagement Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to season 4, episode 17: Rules of Engagement where Worf is on trial for murder! Yep, you read that right. We have guest star Ron Canada as a Klingon...lawyer...we think? And we have that classic Trek trope of the captain acting as their crew member's lawyer. What happens to lawyers in the future? Anyway...that's for a different episode, in this one we are defending Worf from the Klingons! Rules of Engagement In this episode Worf is on trial for firing on a civilian Klingon ship...which seems like an oxymoron. Anyway, the Klingons want Worf extradited to their court system. So we're supposed to believe Klingons have lawyers, civilians AND a court system?? Seems far fetched. Anyway, this very engaging episode is full if interesting directing choices as we watch the story unfold. What's this rebinge thing? It's a re-watch of a thing you've already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia )
