Re-play: Discovering Your Energy Chupacabras

from Tamarindo · host Tamarindo | Sonoro

This week, we are revisiting our Tamarindo favorite! This first aired fall 2019, so you’ll hear us talk about the Democratic debates...ah...remember when the only pandemic we had to worry about was Tr*mp?We learn why stress is not ALL bad but why it’s also more harmful than we think. We recognize that many of the stressors BIPOC folks face, like financial stress or discrimination, are not ones we can easily change without policy changes. That said, there are a few things we can do to start changing our relationship with stress like changing our mindset and discovering our #energychupacabras and what to do about them. We include a technique used by the stress management company that Ana Sheila co-founded, @Baskandbeing.  Speaking of stress, I want to invite you to a fantastic retreat to Puebla Mexico! This is happening February 15 - 19, 2024 and I am co-hosting this with Delsy Sandoval, the creator of the Ocu-pasion podcast. We are calling this Encuentro: A creative retreat for podcasters and/or cultural creators. Right now, we are accepting applications of interest for folks that would like to be a part of this transformative creative retreat.
