Re-Turn requested to install surrounds at public bins in Sligo

A Sligo Councillor is to request Re-Turn install surrounds at public bins in the county.Re-Turn are the company responsible for the plastic bottles and cans Deposit Return Scheme.The surrounds hold around 12 bottles or cans and are attached to the outside of bins allowing easy access for people to collect and return for the deposit.The initiative was piloted in Dublin and is set to roll out in Dún Laoghaire Harbour, Galway City, Meath, Carlow, Clare and Westmeath.
