Pastor Libin draws a parallel between King David and the modern believer, noting that while people cannot choose their generation or its challenges, they can choose whether to serve their own purposes or God's purposes. The message emphasizes that true renewal is not an end in itself but a means to reach a hurting world through the Great Commission.
