Directed by photographer Katy Grannan, the film focuses on Kiki, an effervescent and childlike drifter, whose only means of escape is through her imagination, and whose precarious sense of self-worth hinges on the making of the film. STEVEN EMERSON BIO Berkeley-based singer/songwriter, film composer, and filmmaker Steven Emerson got his start with internationally renowned post-punk band True West before beginning a solo career in New York. Emerson’s musical adventure includes recording four critically acclaimed solo albums, performing in 45 states and 12 countries, opening for REM, The Violent Femmes, X, Nick Cave and many others. He is the owner of the award winning music house Ever Studio, composing for film, television, video games and commercials.
