Reaching the Multitude Starts With You | Missionary Stephen Mustard | Luke 12

How can Christians reach the world if God hasn't first reached their own hearts? In this special missionary service from Flathead Valley Baptist Church, Missionary Stephen Mustard shares an update from his family's ministry in Africa and preaches a powerful challenge from Luke 12. Stephen and his family have served in Africa for five years, ministering in Sierra Leone and now Zimbabwe through evangelism, discipleship, Bible distribution, pastoral training, and strengthening local churches. Their next chapter includes establishing a Bible-believing local church in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, while continuing rural Gospel outreach, including ministry among the Tonga people of the Binga region. In Luke 12, an enormous multitude gathered around Jesus—yet Christ turned first to His disciples. Why? Because before the disciples could effectively reach the multitude, Christ had to reach them first. Stephen challenges Christians to examine the hypocrisy, covetousness, materialism, and earthly distractions that can hinder us from fulfilling the Great Commission.
