Reacting to Recent Rumors and Rumblings Surrounding the Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes are off until their Wednesday showdown against the New York Rangers. However, it's time to address some rumors and rumblings that have surfaced recently. Why should people not read into it too much? Also, why should people relax on the goaltending narrative? On the Tuesday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, host Zach Martin starts the show by sharing his thoughts on the rumblings that came up from Elliotte Friedman over the weekend about Andrei Svechnikov. Apparently, there were rumors of the Russian forward being "open to a trade" due to his ice time. Why should people not read too much into it, since it's been a while since Svechnikov's numbers were decreased? Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on the recent discourse surrounding the goaltending for the Hurricanes. While parts have been struggling, why should people pump the brakes on it being "mid"? There have been bright spots in the goaltending, and with 60 games left, things are expected to improve. Lastly, although the power play scored against the Buffalo Sabres, there is still something that needs to be addressed.
