REACTION: Nebraska football comes up clutch – again – in taking down Northwestern

The Nebraska football team dispatched Northwestern 28-21 on Saturday in Lincoln, the Huskers’ sixth win in eight games. Not bad, huh? Well, it’s been a ride. And this return home after two on the road was no exception. Nebraska struck early. And it won the game with a clutch drive directed by Dylan Raiola. The sophomore QB converted four third downs on the Huskers’ game-winning march – to four receivers – before Emmett Johnson found the end zone.Nebraska battled poor officiating. It also benefited from poor officiating. Johnson rushed for 124 yards. He’s playing like a first-team All-Big Ten running back. The Huskers got another big day from their special teams, highlighted by Kenneth Williams’ 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It sets up a big Saturday night, with USC in town.
