Reaction to the Aaron Hernandez Documentary

Most people watched this documentary as a fan of a cool new Netflix documentary, but watching it as a football fan that watched Aaron Hernandez on a weekly basis, the project broke my heart because while some people may see a murderer, I see a guy who was struggling and was going through an identity crisis and someone who was always trying to prove to be tough because that is the mantra that he thought he had to put up. I also talk about how I wish we as a society could finally accept a gay athlete, and there is only one way that is going to happen.
