READING: Amos 8:1-14

Is the time coming where we will see God accomplish these things again? Maybe, but who will be able to stand. If we choose to follow our own ways we will surely be treated as those in these prophesies. I implore you to never turn from God and His ways.  Nothing else will bring you hope, peace and joy.  And nothing will ever give you a heavenly home forever with God in the splendor and glory of His presence.  "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)
