Reading for my son

Yes, I know this ain’t technically legal I guess as I have paid no royalties and what not but we tried audible but the reading (although it sounds rather like a screen reader) is grating on the ears and we couldn’t cope. So while I have the ability I shall read and send the recording to my son, a few pages at a time when he asks. Joust - Audible link I don’t know what it is but like, I know I have issues with my speech but the breath pauses are just weird somehow. Don’t know how. we cannot put our fingers on it.
