Ready, Row! USA #87: USRowing Convention Recap

And what a Convention it has been! As part of our continued collaboration with USRowing, Samantha Wonderlin, USR Membership Marketing Specialist, and Sarah McAulifffe, USR Senior Event Manager, to recap the first-ever 2020 Virtual Convention for Ready, Row! USA. Wonderlin and McAuliffe took us behind the scenes at the event - the surprises and "back-channel" encounters, talks by legends & rookies, the burning questions, a comparison of 2019 vs. 2020, tech challenges & victories! These intrepid virtual convention organizers give us a first-hand account of how it was to pivot and plan the first Virtual Convention, and how USRowing has changed its "mindset" and messaging for activities and events during the pandemic and beyond.
