Ready Set Revue Episode 74: Doctor Strange Multiverse Of Madness

On episode 74 of Ready Set Revue we finally get to take our trip to the multiverse! It’s open weekend for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and man is this movie mad in all the right ways. It becomes amazingly obvious from the first 20 minutes of this movie that it is a Sam Raimi flick through and through; all the way from the classic evil cam angles right down to the gratuitous Bruce Campbell cameo. Whoever said that Marvel doesn’t allow directors to do their own thing in the MCU movies needs to shut up and see this movie. Speaking of cameos, there are some fucking great ones here. We won’t spoil it in the post, you’ll have to listen to the episode for that which is FULL of spoilers. Raimi brings his unique style to this movie and introduces horror and elements of gore for the first time in the MCU while making sure that the characters are treated right and against the backdrop of a compelling story. A must see installment in the MCU.
