Ready Set Revue episode 89 talks about a pair of weird yet excellent movies, M3gan and The Menu. One movie is thriller/horror that borders on comedy in M3gan; a movie about an AI doll that goes to great lengths to protect its primary user. We’re obviously talking about murder, but there’s some surprising depth to the characters in this movie as well as interesting social commentary. Then there’s The Menu.
