Any other readers out there?! 📚Y'all know I love to read - and I enjoy all sorts of books - personal growth, fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, young adult - I’m here for all of it!Which is why I’m so excited today to chat with author Kyrie McCauley. I’ve read two of her recent books and was so struck by the way she weaves together big topics - such as domestic violence awareness and advocacy - into her fictional books with characters that feel so alive I wouldn’t be surprised if they up and walked out of my book! Kyrie McCauley spent her childhood climbing trees in dresses and reading books during class. She is the author of If These Wings Could Fly, recipient of the 2021 William C. Morris Award, We Can Be Heroes, and forthcoming All the Dead Lie Down.  Part of living by design and not by default, to be personally at least, is taking responsibility for the world in which we live and leaving it better than we found it.
