O reajuste do salário mínimo vai impactar direta e indiretamente o orçamento de 25,4% da população, de acordo com o Dieese, que tomou por base a Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (Pnad) do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), de 2021, para fazer o cálculo. São 54,075 milhões de brasileiros que ganham mais quando há reajuste do salário mínimo. No domingo (30), o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva anunciou o reajuste para o mínimo, que passa de R$ 1.302 para R$ 1.320. A fórmula de correção que valerá será a que prevalecia até 2019, a última vez que o piso teve reajuste real (acima da inflação): inflação do ano anterior e a variação do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) de dois anos antes. De 2020 a 2022, o piso nacional foi corrigido apenas pela inflação, o que provocou perda do poder de compra do mínimo, pela aceleração da inflação.
