Real Life Incidence- Corporal Punishment

The most common type of violence against children is corporal punishment. It is any punishment that involves the use of physical force with the intent of causing pain or discomfort. Respect for human dignity and bodily integrity is a violation of children's rights.Article 19 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) stipulates that any kind of corporal punishment is unacceptably harsh. It establishes that children have the right to be safeguarded from physical and mental harm and mistreatment. Governments should ensure that children are appropriately cared for and protected from violence, abuse, and neglect by their parents or other caregivers.
