The state believes that facial recognition will help curb gambling addiction which is a serious issue across the country, However, critics claim that the technology is a dangerous and invasive attack on privacy and that it undermines basic human rights. Next up, some visitors to Apple's App Store reported last week that they noticed some curious suggestions as they were searching for new apps. It seems that, after the release of new versions of operating systems for iPhones and iPads, advertisements started to appear outside the "Search" tab, where they had been relegated previously.An even bigger problem has been that some of the suggestions included inappropriate content for certain user groups, such as ads for gambling and crypto schemes appearing next to apps for addiction recovery or kids' games. After much protest, Apple has paused ads for gambling apps and similar categories of App Store products.
