The devil puts on a facade; he represents himself as something he is not. He lies over who he is, what he does, and what his principles are. He is such a master of misrepresentation that he can surpass the greatest of all magicians. And he has “dominion over all the earth, among all nations.” With two kinds of leaders we have two kinds of leadership. One king uses his “authority” to require strict obedience to everything he says. Like a military leader, he dominates by supreme rule over all his subordinants. The other representative has reversed the order of command.
