Real Talk (Pt. 5) - Real Faith Prays

It’s time for some real talk. Living out our faith can be hard. From navigating our friends, our words, our actions, and even money… living in a way that brings God glory is hard. This is where the book of James comes in. The book of James is a book that is all about how we can have a real faith that works in our real world. Over the next five weeks, we’ll be looking at what it takes to have a real faith that really works!   Tonight we wrap up our series by looking at James 5. James covers many topics in James 5, but a major chunk of James 5 covers the topic of prayer. Therefore, tonight we’ll be discussing prayer, focusing on its power and explaining the basics of prayer as well. We want students to understand why prayer makes such a big difference in their relationship with Jesus and how they can spend time in prayer too! We will show students that prayer is powerful because it changes the world around us but more importantly it changes our own hearts too! When we pray, we will begin to understand that our prayers are powerful and produce wonderful results!
