Kennedy Ekezie is 22 Yrs old Nigerian making Nigeria proud globally. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy in 2017 from the University of Calabar (UNICAL) where he was a competitive debater for four years. While in UNICAL, he founded the #Calabar Youth Council for women’s rights, an organization focused on ending the practice of female genital mutilation in Nigeria. In 2017, he was made the Resolution Project Fellow for his contribution in women empowerment and also delivered a keynote speech at the 2017 United Nations (#UN) Youth Assembly In 2018, Kennedy received the #Queen’s Young Leaders’ Award; an annual award given in recognition of leadership skills by young people between the ages of 18 and 29. That same year, he became the first Nigerian to earn a #Yenching Scholarship; a scholarship given to outstanding young people with the aim of building bridges between China and the rest of the world through an interdisciplinary Master’s Program in #china. In 2019, He received the 2019 Princess Diana Award Currently, he is the CEO of #Africave where he is leading a team that brings the best #software engineering talent to organizations that need them.
