Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) is a legendary underground hip-hop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded in the early 1990s by high school friends Vinnie Paz (rapper) and Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind (producer). Stoupe is widely regarded as one of the most underrated producers in rap history, known for his "Eastern" soundscapes, dark orchestral samples, and intricate layers. Vinnie Paz is famous for his raw, aggressive delivery and gravelly voice, with lyrics ranging from historical and religious themes to grit-heavy street narratives. While Paz and Stoupe are the core duo, Jus Allah was a key member during their most influential era (notably on Violent by Design).
