Celebrating Young Black Womanhood March is Women’s History Month, so we are celebrating young black womanhood. Young black transformations, becomings, and blossoming amongst women in my circle who are doing the damn thing for themselves. Jaha Bela is an Atlanta raised, Iowa educated and slam cultivated warrior of change. As a double major in English/Creative Writing and African American Studies, minoring in Social Justice. Her emphasis is in race and gender equity in business. she still fits in time to volunteer and run writing workshops. She works to maintain safe spaces for Queer femme creatives to thrive.
