REAPING THE REWARDS OF ENDURING FAITH

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9 Devotional Message Faith is not just believing God when everything is going well; it is trusting Him when the answers seem delayed, when the journey feels long, and when trials press heavily on every side. Enduring faith is the kind that holds on to God’s promises even when circumstances seem to say the opposite. Abraham waited decades for the promised child, Joseph endured betrayal and prison before entering the palace, and Job held onto his faith even in deep suffering. Each of them reaped the rewards of enduring faith because they refused to let go of God in their waiting. Enduring faith builds character, strengthens patience, and prepares us to handle the blessings God has in store. The reward may not come immediately, but God’s timing is perfect. The season of sowing tears will surely give way to the season of reaping joy (Psalm 126:5). Stay faithful. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep believing. Your endurance is not in vain; heaven has a harvest prepared for you. Today, Ask Yourself: In what area of my life is God calling me to hold on a little longer in faith? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for the promise of a harvest for those who endure. Strengthen me to remain steadfast, even when the wait feels heavy. Let my faith not fail, and may I rejoice when the season of reward comes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
