Text: Psalm 97 Title: Good and Great Preacher: Courtney Huna & Noah Soistmann May 26, 2021 Main Idea: Rejoice in the greatness and goodness of God! I. Creation and the nations bow before the greatness of God (1-7). II. Followers of God rejoice in the goodness of God (8-12). There are few things in this life that are truly jaw-dropping experiences. One of those things is the majesty and beauty of creation. But the glory of creation points us back to the greatness of the one who made it, and followers of God have a reason to rejoice in awe. Questions: What are examples of power without goodness? What are things that remind you of the greatness of God? Where have you seen the goodness of God? Where is it hard to believe the goodness of God? What are things that make you doubt the greatness of God?
