Rebecca's poem:  Searching for Esau We all have our book of Genesis, don’t we?According to Scripture, mine was this: My mother left me in a box with a notePleading with someone to care for her baby.And so across the ocean my new parents did.Still I fantasized about my brave mother,until I learned from others one by one--adopted from the same agency--that they too were tucked into boxeswith an identical note.Thus was my birthright stolen.LIke Jacob the second twin I grasp the heel of Esau,My first and vanished self.  A song was selected that was written and performed by Ian Vidovic for this episode. Support the show
