On this episode of the Sports As a Job Podcast, Kolby is joined by Rebekah Rabun the Director of Administration for Texas A&M Athletics. Rebekah earned her B.S. in Health Promotions at the University of Georgia. She completed her M.S. in Sport Management at Texas A&M. From 2015-2017 while attending Texas A&M she was a graduate assistant in the Sport Management Department. This included duties as a teaching assistant and event management. She also assisted with Men's Basketball Operations at Texas A&M. Fast forward to August 2019 when she became the Director of Administration for Texas A&M Athletics. In this episode she explains the day to day of her current position and the exciting things that go on. In her words, it is somewhat a position of Athletic Director in training. We discuss how she went from intern to the Director of Administration.
