So, it's usually not my custom to get super personal on here but basically 3 months ago my mom unexpectedly passed away. Needless to say, my motivation for anything musical has been close to zero for a while. As they say though every cloud has a silver lining. It wasn't more than 3 days after this happened that the apartment I have been wanting opened up and I finally got the chance to live on my own for the first time in my life. It took me a while to get up the gumption to move but with the help of friends and family I am now settled in my new place. So with this, I feel the title of this track is fitting. After 3 months of nothing musical at all I'm feeling motivated again and I think that it's a good stepping stone toward recovery with the grieving process and whatnot. I hope you guys enjoy this one and I hope it does well, but more than anything it's just nice to make music and feel a little more like myself again. Thanks in advance for listening. -Jredd
