Rebooting the American Operating System
from GodNAmerica Hosted by Perry Greene
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Dr. Greene likens the nation to a corrupted computer operating system. The Founders understood that the Constitution could only function properly among a moral and religious people guided by faith in God. Drawing on quotes from John Adams and Benjamin Rush, along with Psalm 127:1 and Zechariah 1:3, the podcast argues that America’s freedoms were built on biblical truth and dependence on Divine Providence. The solution to today’s cultural and political dysfunction is not abandoning the Constitution but restoring the spiritual and moral foundation beneath it. America must reboot its operating system by returning to God, truth, virtue, and self-government before freedom can flourish again.
