Das rechts-konservativ-nahe Unternehmen Paramount Skydance kämpft mit dem Millionen-Streaming-Unternehmen Netflix um die Übernahme des Mayor Filmstudios Warner Bros, Kulturstaatsminister Wolfram Weimer geht munter seinen privatwirtschaftlichen Interessen nach, statt sein politisches Amt fair und richtig auszufüllen und Sequoia Capital, dessen Investments auch in die israelische Rüstungsindustrie gehen, steckt 100 Millionen US Dollar in den Arthouse-Streaminganbieter und Verleih MUBI. Zwischen Enttäuschung, Boykott-Aufrufen und der Hoffnung, dass es irgendwann mal bergauf geht, lassen wir das Jahr Revue passieren und geben euch dabei eine großartige, non-mainstream Filmempfehlung. Ohne zu viel zu erwarten wagen wir es sogar, schon mal einen Blick auf 2026 zu werfen.
