Recent rain not enough to ease drought warnings in Philadelphia region

from Philadelphia All Local

A Philadelphia city councilman wants to regulate food delivery services that use e-bikes. KYW’s City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb reports on this. The entire State of New Jersey is in a drought warning and portions of Pennsylvania, including Chester County, are in one too. Philadelphia and the rest of the suburbs are in a drought watch. KYW's John McDevitt spoke with a hydrologist with the National weather service about the situation. A group representing Philadelphia charter schools is taking the School District to court, claiming the district illegally forces charters to agree to enrollment caps and other conditions to be renewed. We get the story from KYW education reporter Mike DeNardo.
