Recognize Grace in all it’s Truth

John 17:14 I have given them your word and the world has hated

them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that

you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world,

even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is

truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the

world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly

sanctified. - (NIV84)

John 1:15 John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, “This

was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me

because he was before me.’ ” 16 From the fullness of his grace we

have all received one blessing after another. 17 For the law was

given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is

at the Father’s side, has made him known. - (NIV84)

Recognize Grace in all it’s Truth

1. The Word of God is truth manifested in Christ

2. The old nature can’t keep the Word of the Lord

3. Christ is our salvation and our righteousness

4. Christ grants us grace so we can live in truth

5. There is no hyper grace - sin demands justice
