Recovering From Guru-itis (HOS10)

from The Heart of Soul · host Josef Shapiro

This episode begins a sort of three-part series. Stace is going to tell you his personal life story as it relates to the origin of Edenity, including his own childhood wounding and how his own innate gifts in many ways made things more difficult for him. One of Edenity’s unusual principles is that the greater the child’s gifts, the greater the childhood wounding because of the degree to which their needs are not met. This episode sets the context for Stace’s fall from guru grace when he dead-ended his own earlier version of Edenity, as an expression of an earlier version of himself, which we go into more deeply in the next episode. What makes this story about you, is that for all of us, our weaknesses are inevitably distorted expressions of our strengths, and we cannot forgive ourselves for, and heal our wounds, until we can fully own our gifts. Please listen to these podcasts from the beginning in order.
