Recycling the Right Way-Delaying retirement
from InfoTrak
About a third of all Americans retire and start claiming Social Security when they turn 62. Maria Fitzpatrick, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Policy and Management at Cornell University, Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research co-authored a study that found that men who retire at 62 experience a 20 percent higher likelihood of early death, compared to those who delay retirement.
